FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Golden Root Academy is in pre-opening enrollment. We are accepting Interest List applications now, and our Founding Families will be among the first enrolled. Join the list to receive our official opening announcement.

  • We serve children from 18 months through 12 years across three programs: Seedlings (18 months–3 years), Sprouts (3–5 years), and Roots (6–12 years after school). Respite care is available for all ages.

  • Yes. Golden Root Academy accepts the Texas Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). Qualifying families may receive substantial support toward tuition costs. Ask our team about eligibility during your tour.

  • Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Extended care inquiries welcome — speak with our team.

  • Yes — English and Spanish immersion is woven throughout every program, every day. Both languages used authentically in stories, songs, lessons, and daily conversation.

  • Yes. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided throughout the day. Our menu is planned with child nutrition guidelines in mind and shared with families monthly.

  • Yes. Golden Root Academy is licensed by Texas Health & Human Services under Chapter 746 Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. Our license is current and available for review upon request.

  • Lead teachers hold or are actively working toward CDA credentials or early childhood education degrees. All staff complete First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter training before their first day with children.

  • Yes, school pick-up from nearby campuses is available for the Roots after school program. Ask our team about availability for your specific school.
